Returns Policy

IMPORTANT! Custom items are not returnable.

  • You may return your item unaltered, in any way - in the same condition as received within 7-days. You can expect a refund of the item cost minus our ship cost within 24-hours of receipt of returned item(s). NOTE: YOU MUST NOTIFY UptownStitchGirl that you are returning any item.
  • Any item that gets lost in the mail is the responsibility of the customer. Please make every effort to see that it is returned properly.
  • We will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
  • Please allow 5-10 business days for returns to reach us. Once the returned item is received, the refund will be processed within 24-hours via Paypal.
  • Contact us via the CONTACT US link with your item number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.
  • Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
  • WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL ANY ORDER AND ISSUE FULL REFUND.

 

Shipping

  • We ship via USPS for all orders.
  • Please allow 5-7 business days for USPS delivery. There are no guarantees by the post office of 2-3 days delivery for regular mail.
  • If you must have your item(s) within a certain time frame, within 2-3 days for example, please request via email that your item(s) are sent via USPS Priority Mail 2-3 Day delivery. Once the request is received, you will be sent a Paypal invoice for the additional shipping charges.
  • During the holidays, it is best to pay the Priority Mail 2-3 Day deliver charge.
  • Shipping confirmation - tracking numbers are not provided with regular mail. If you need to track your package, please consider USPS Priority Mail 2-3 Day delivery. First Class and Ground Advantage Shipping are available. You may make this request via email for a price quote.
  • Very important! Please make sure your shipping address is complete. If there is an apartment number, please make sure it is included. We are only responsible for shipping to an address provided by customer.
  • If an item is returned due to a faulty address, we will attempt to contact you via email for correction. Your item will be reshipped, however, customers are responsible for  reshipment cost of the item. A Paypal invoice will be sent to customer upon request for additional ship cost.
  • In the event of a faulty address supplied by customer, an attempt to reach customer via  email will be made. If no success, a refund will be made for the order.
  • No tracking provided for orders processed via standard mailing. However, you have the option of signing up for Informed Delivery at USPS.com -https://www.usps.com/manage/informed-delivery.htm. There is no cost for this service.
  • This option will track mailings that are stamped with First Class postage.
